September Mix Side A
while san francisco got to enjoy a rare heatwave this past week, the fall is starting to settle back in. the changing of seasons has got me thinking about this women’s empowerment event sarah and i inadvertently crashed on my birthday this year at the Ethiopian spot (lol), where the speaker was talking about treating your life like a seasonal harvest cycle. you eat your preserves and plan the year in the winter, sew your seeds in the spring, enjoy the fruits of your labor in the summer, and have your last big harvest in the fall. something along those lines… but i have been keeping that sort of thing in mind when it comes to my personal projects, and it’s been to my great benefit! the coming harvest does feel like it’s gonna be bountiful, so here’s some celebratory and fall-flavored joints for you all to enjoy. 𓃔˙✧
at the beach this week, during the legitimately hot day, two different crews’ speakers were bumping That’s What’s Up like 5 minutes after one another so you know my bay area ass had to drop that joint on the mix. we keep it cracking on the west. watching the sunset and shi with the homies…
